Emerson College Beer Garden Mobilization & Demobilization

For the third consecutive year, TRI Construction was awarded the mobilization, transportation, and erection phase of the Emerson College & Harpoon Brewery Beer Garden on Boston Common. The 2025 installation was completed efficiently in just 2.5 weeks, laying a solid foundation for the seasonal venue’s operations.

Mobilization & Site Preparation

TRI Construction led the mobilization phase with a focus on safety, efficiency, and minimal disruption to the active Emerson College campus. Key responsibilities included:

  • Establishing secure site access and safety barriers
  • Installing temporary fencing and signage
  • Coordinating utility connections for temporary power and water
  • Setting up staging areas for materials and equipment
  • Implementing erosion and sediment control measures

Close coordination with Emerson College administration, campus safety teams, landscape designers, and city officials ensured smooth execution despite the challenges of a dense urban environment.

Execution & Collaboration

Weekly stakeholder meetings helped address site constraints and regulatory requirements early in the process. TRI Construction’s proactive planning and attention to detail ensured all objectives were met on time and within budget.

This groundwork enabled the seamless installation of the Beer Garden’s signature hardscapes, landscaping, lighting, and site furnishings.
